Employee Benefit / Cafeteria Plans

YES – we are unusual in that our clients can rely on their property/casualty agent to manage the annual re-enrollment of their benefit plan or……to simply provide group life and/or disability (STD or LTD) programs, or…..to add one or more VOLUNTARY benefits.  The latter permits employers to add to their benefit portfolio for their employees at NO DIRECT COST to the employer.  We do lots of this!

Often the WORKPLACE is the ONLY VENUE where people have the chance to spend a few extra dollars a week on some sorely needed insurance coverages for themselves and/or their dependents/spouse.  This is only possible because the boss made it possible for this to be presented at work, purchased (voluntarily) at work, and PAID FOR by the employee via payroll deduction.  The employer doesn’t pay the premiums, but he/she sure does play a vital role in making it all possible!

This is the “wave of the future” in the workplace and employers NOT offering these voluntary benefits can find themselves behind the curve.  Voluntary benefits may be the difference between remaining competitive for services of those you’d like to employ, or not.  Call our specialists, Chris Vanderzyden (Ext 229), Adam Donatini (Ext 228), or Ellen Bellanco (Ext 322).  Or email Ellen with your inquiries (ellenbellanco@whitaker-myers.com).  She is excellent at answering questions about benefits in general or more specifically about VOLUNTARY BENEFITS.   We can even provide HOME and AUTO INSURANCE on a payroll deduction basis!  Be a benefits LEADER……..contact us.

For questions about what our benefits department may be able to do for your group or individual health insurance situation, contact Rebecca Stoffer (Ext 227), Chris Vanderzyden (Ext 229), or Adam Donatini (Ext 228).
